A lot of Marvel fans have been wondering if there will be an “Iron Man 4” as part of the next phase for Marvel. Well wonder no longer. Robert Downey Jr. gives us the answer.
In an interview with Variety, Downey Jr. was asked if there would be an “Iron Man 4” and he gives a pretty straight forward answer.
“There isn’t one in the pipe. No, there’s no plan for a fourth ‘Iron Man.'”
Variety even asked Downey Jr. if he would let another actor play Tony Stark, he laughed at the question and said:
“I like that the idea is that it would be up to me, like I’m casting director for Marvel.”
Robert Downey Jr. has been reluctant to sign on for anymore superhero movies but we will get to see him as Tony Stark, at least two more times in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” which hits theaters May 1, 2015 and another Avengers sequel, which is set for 2018.
Do you guys and gals think there needs to be another Iron Man film?
