WB.DISCOVERY TRAILER: “FURIOSA – A MAD MAX SAGA”

Anya Taylor-Joy stars as Furiosa, the character played by Charlize Theron in 2015’s ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’

Unfortunately, Charlize Theron is not in this and neither is Mad Max.  But Chris Hemsworth, wearing a fake nose, plays a bad guy. So that’s something.

According to a press release, the film will reveal the origins of” Furiosa.

“As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus,” according to a synopsis.

“Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”
