L.A. Comic Con Will Take Place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from September 26-28 and Feature Robust Offerings from Tsuburaya Productions to Give Fans a Glimpse into the Franchise…
Headlining their presence at the convention will be two special screenings that fans of the franchise will not want to miss, starting with the U.S. premiere of Ultraman 4K Discovery on September 28th at 12:00pm, featuring a series of original Ultraman episodes remastered in 4K. Audiences will also be treated to a special screening of Ultraman Omega, where they will get a sneak peek at the first two English-dubbed episodes on September 27th at 1:00pm. The series features Ultraman Omega who fell to Earth in a human form with no memories of his past, taking up the name Sorato Okida. Compelled to face kaiju by a mysterious, subconscious duty, he defends the planet while forming a bond with the humans and will begin its streaming availability in the U.S. in late November and early December.
Fans can then check out Tsuburaya Productions panel, “Ultraman in America Update” on Saturday, September 27th at 2:00pm in the West Hall Stagemoderated by Tsuburaya Fields Media & Pictures Entertainment (TFMPE) President David Kornblum, and will feature insights from Danny Simon (TFM) and Stephen Smith, President of Sky Turtle Nova, to discuss Ultraman’s expansion across media, licensing, and publishing. The team will introduce the recently-released Ultra Academy book series, and Titan Books’ second novel Ultraseven, while also sharing more about upcoming Marvel Comics projects.

At the heart of the action is the Tsuburaya Productions booth #5225, where fans can dive into the world of Ultraman through a variety of interactive experiences. Sky Turtle Nova author Rebecca Reynolds will be signing a special edition LA Comic Con exclusive bookplate with the purchase of The Ultra Academy Book One: Beware The Baleful Baltan, plus partner PopCulture USA will highlight Tsuburaya’s popular Ultraman Card Game.
The excitement continues in the LACC Gaming Area, where the Ultraman Card Game Rise Cup Tournament will take place on Sunday, September 28 at 12pm and players who register for the tournament will receive a 12% discount on their LA Comic Con admission.
