“TWISTED METAL” SNAGS A SEASON 3

TWISTED METAL, the live-action adaptation of the PlayStation video game franchise, will be back for Season 3. According to a new report from Deadline, Peacock has renewed the show for a third season.

After its premiere, the show became one of Peacock’s “most-binged” shows. And Season 2 was equally successful, with Peacock noting the series “registered 993 million minutes viewed” on the service, and was their “second highest-reaching original returning scripted season.”

The series follows the story of a John Doe (played by Anthony Mackie), a milkman with amenesia who goes on a mission to traverse the post-apocalyptic United States. Alongside Mackie, Twisted Metal also stars Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Seanoa, Will Arnett, Thomas Haden Church, Anthony Carrigan, and more.
