As ‘Wakanda Forever’ nears release we all wonder what this means for the story of T’Challa. Black Panther is centered around Chadwick Boseman’s character. But with the tragic loss of Boseman, we can expect the story to change and possibly start focusing on other characters.
With the refocus there has been some criticism from fans that by doing so would diminish the importance of what T’Challa stands for. But Kevin Feige has opened up about the decision of not recasting.
Feige says “It just felt like it was much too soon to recast. Stan Lee always said that Marvel represents the world outside your window. And we had talked about how, as extraordinary and fantastical as our characters and stories are, there’s a relatable and human element to everything we do. The world is still processing the loss of Chad. And Ryan poured that into the story.”
With the release date around the corner and with what Feige has said we can see how this movie will pay respects to the honor and legacy of our hero on and off screen.
