Amongst all of the set photos from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Half-shell, you may have noticed a face among the set that is usually in the squared circle taking on competitors.
WWE superstar Sheamus is confirmed to take on the role of fan-favorite villain, Rocksteady. The WWE wrestler also posted some selfies with the cast from the set on his Twitter.
This will be the first time we get to see the villainous duo in a live-action film but this will not be the first time that we have seen a wrestler in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle franchise. You may remember that former WWF wrestler Kevin Nash aka Big Daddy Cool Diesel played the role of Super Shredder in 1991’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.
Sheamus is only one newcomer to the sequel as the franchise will add Tyler Perry, Brian Tee, Gary Anthony Williams, Stephen Amell and Brittany Ishibashi.
