After a virtual screening of Man of Steel on Wednesday, Director Zack Snyder has confirmed that the “Snyder Cut” of 2017’s Justice League is real, and will be heading to HBO MAX in 2021. This came after years of fan campaigning, and even after some of the film’s actors demanded Warner Bros. release the cut.

Now isn’t Zack Snyder already credited as director of the film? Yes, but he unfortunately had to step away from the project in early 2017 after a family tragedy, and The Avengers’s Joss Whedon stepped in to finish the rest. The two directors couldn’t be more different in style, causing fans to speculate if the final product was what Snyder had envisioned. All our questions will be answered on HBO MAX when Zack Snyder’s Justice League releases in 2021.
