The name of the sequel for the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film was revealed during Grantland’s The Lowe Post podcast by a player from the LA Clippers, J.J. Redick. I know it sounds strange, but the video below explains it all within the first minute.
“Half-shell,” is a reference to the theme song from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon from the 80’s. The sequel has recently added Victoria Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio to the cast. The film will be directed by David Green and will be released in theaters June 3, 2016.
