The gaming community has once again banded together to help fund another game on Kickstarter.
This time, it’s a quirky RPG from the eccentric mind of Hidetaka Suehiro or better yet known as “Swery65”.
Touted as daily life RPG, the Good Life has players taking on the role of Naomi, a photojournalist that finds herself in a far off small British town called Rainy Woods. Saddled with a massive debt to repay, players must earn money taking photo gigs and a second objective of solving a unspoken murder mystery. The townspeople are not what they seem.
Swery65 and his team at White Owl has created a prototype that you can download and play on the Kickstarter page. Notable members attached to the project are Yukio Futatsugi, creator of the Panzer Dragoon series, and Noboru Hotta, (Rez, Meteos).
The Kickstarter asked for $620,000 to develop the game for PC and Playstation 4. The campaign’s next stretch goal is $800,000 for a Switch version with a little under 2 days remaining as of this post. The target release date of the game is Q3 2019.
