Many of today’s actors grow up and are fans of the Star Wars franchise so it’s not a surprise that many would agree to even a minimal part in one of the films.  For example, in Star Wars: The Force Awakens James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, cameoed as a stormtrooper guard that was Jedi Mind-Tricked by Rey on Starkiller base.  Craig’s face wasn’t seen nor was he given credit for being in the movie. In fact, it was kept a secret for a long time after the release of the film.

Now it looks like The Last Jedi will continue the tradition of including big names in cameos.

While on a promotional tour, The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson revealed that Joseph Gordon-Levitt has a part in the film. Apparently, Gordon-Levitt will be voicing a character. Could he be voicing a Porg? Do Porgs talk?

Gordon-Levitt has worked with Rian Johnson before on Looper, and Brick.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives December 15th.
