STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKEN Blu-ray Review – “It’s Like Heaven”

It Was Amazing In The Theaters And Now It’s Amazing At Home. STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKEN Is Now On Blu-ray & DVD!

About the film

Disney, LucasFilm and J.J. Abrams bring back the magic of Star Wars in The Force Awakens , the seventh film in the saga, by using a bit of the old and new.

For example, Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) are among the cast that represent the originals. Then there’s the newcomers to the saga such as Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), and Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron). Together this cast is energetic, fun, and have the perfect chemistry. Then the decision to incorporate a lot more practical effects instead of the over using CGI (Computer Generated Images) brought back the realism and the sense of danger of the original films.

For J.J. Abrams, it was important to bring back the feeling we had when first watching the original Star Wars Trilogy in the 70’s and 80’s. In fact, I had a chance to ask him during the press conference for The Force Awaken: what was the most important thing to bring to this film from the originals?

Take a look…. That’s really me!
