Snyder and Zimmer Take Control of ‘Superman: Man of Steel’

The reigns have been completely passed from director to director in the upcoming “Superman: Man of Steel.”  Director Chris Nolan (“The Dark Knight,” “Inception”) has passed control of Superman over to Zack Snyder (“Watchmen,” “300.”)  It has also been confirmed there will be a change of music.  John Williams’s classic score for the Superman franchise will be replaced with music composed by Hans Zimmer (“Inception,” “The Dark Knight.”)  Some fans may criticize the switch, but Hans Zimmer has written many famous soundtracks and is an Academy Award winner, for “The Lion King,” in his own right. It looks like the Man of Steel is flying in the right direction.

Superman: Man of Steel is currently set for a holiday 2012 release.
