Shenmue III has been delayed once more, luckily this time it has only been pushed back a few months as Yu Suzuki & Deep Silver announced that the release date has changed from August 27, 2019, to November 19, 2019.
Two months isn’t bad, we’ve already been waiting what feels like forever with Shenmue II releasing back in 2001 on the Dreamcast (2002 for the Xbox in the West) and the Kickstarter launching in 2015.
According to the post, the reason for the delay is,
Whilst almost ready, the game simply needs a little more refinement before being truly finished.
We feel that the extra time we have will help us deliver the true Shenmue experience players around the world deserve!
Hopefully, this is the last delay because I need to know what happens to Ryo!
Shenmue III will be released for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
