Shadow of the Tomb Raider continues the rebooted story of Lara Croft, this time taking her to Latin America in search of ancient Mayan relic. A new gameplay video showcases the hidden city of Paititi, which is the largest hub in any Tomb Raider game according to developer Eidos Montreal. Here Lara can barter with the locals and take on various sidequests.
What’s most interesting however is that the difficulty of the combat, exploration, and puzzles can be adjusted independently of one another, so if you’re more of a fighter than an explorer, you can set the combat to Hard and the exploration to easy. In the video, the exploration was set to Hard, thus removing the white paint on climbable surfaces.
You can watch the video below. Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 14, but you can pre-order to play the game early on September 12.
