According to the communications manager at From Software,Yasuhiro Kitao, Sekiro: Shadows DieTwice will be similar in scale to Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne.
In a recent interview with VG247, Kitao-san didn’t necessarily give the specific amount of time players can expect to find themselves in the world of Sekiro, however, he did mention that it’s obviously going to be very different from player to player, especially considering the title’s supposedly increased difficulty.
He stated that in terms of scope and size, the game will be very similar to what the studio has tackled before. When the interviewer asked if Kitao-san meant it would be similar in scope and size to their recent titles, like Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3, he replied, “Yes, that’s correct.”
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 22, 2019.
