It was a great victory for equal rights in America today because the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that same-sex marriage is in fact a Constitutional right.
Earlier, at press event in which I attended, for the anticipated Terminator Genisys, former Republican Governor and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was asked several questions about the movie, but one reporter asked about what his opinion was on the Supreme Court’s ruling on same sex marriage.
“I’m very happy that they made the right decision on that, because we in California, of course, we’re always a step ahead, We made the decision already a long time ago, our Supreme Court in California, that it’s unconstitutional to deny people that are gay or same-sex couples the [sic] marriage.”
He continued.
“Everyone has equal rights. This is the right way to go and, I think, a great celebration for America. Sometimes, I have to say, the judges and judiciary system make better decisions than the politicians. Sadly, they are not really having [sic] the balls sometimes to… work together.”
