The one person missing from the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast (besides Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, she is another show) has given word that he would like to make some cameo on the show. Samuel Jackson who played Nick Fury from the start of Marvel Phase One in Iron Man (2008) mentioned a possible cameo in an interview with Vulture;

“If I was going to do S.H.I.E.L.D., I’d like to be — you know Charlie’s voice on Charlie’s Angels? That would be perfect. Because everybody recognizes my voice. That would be good enough for me. And I told Joss that.” What did he say? “

I don’t know. He can’t hire me, I guess. Disney, Marvel, we’ll see what they think … It would legitimize the show in another way. It’s like the same thing with Star Wars — I want to be in that too. Bring Mace Windu back!” Nick Fury first appeared in Sgt. Fury and His Howing Commandos #1 (May 1963). After World War II, Fury took the Infinity Formula which helps him recover from an injury and also keeps him young. This was revealed in Marvel Spotlight #31 (1976). Bryan Hitch and Mark Millar envisioned Samuel Jackson as Fury in the Ultimates universe starting with Ultimates #1 (2002).
