Variety is reporting that Robert Pattinson of the Twilight series has been cast as the Dark Knight for the highly anticipated Matt Reeves film, The Batman. Rumors have swirled for the last couple of months of several actors who were interested in the role with Pattinson being at the top of the list. The role became available since the announced retirement of Ben Affleck as the caped crusader in early 2019. Matt Reeves is currently refining the script for a possible shooting date to start later this year. More to come…
