After the huge success of Grand Theft Auto Online, it was only a matter of time before we would hear about an online mode for Red Dead Redemption 2. Sure enough, Rockstar has revealed the game would be getting just that with Red Dead Online.
Described as an evolution of the multiplayer mode from the last game, Red Dead Online will take you and your friends or enemies through some experiences that will combine narrative with gameplay. Content will update constantly just as it did with GTA Online.Red Dead Online is planned to launch in November as a public beta, which makes sense considering this will most likely use the same map that will be available in the single-player campaign. Expect a rocky road ahead in the first month of launch.
Red Dead Redemption 2 launches on October 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can read more about Red Dead Online on the Rockstar Games website.
