Total Film magazine will publish an interview with “The Dark Knight Rises” producer and wife of director Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas. In this latest issue, she will shed some light on the new characters in “The Dark Knight” saga. More specifically, Thomas will elaborate on the characters Bane and Catwoman.
Discussing actor Tom Hardy’s character of Bane, Thomas had this to say.
“Tom made a massive physical transformation for the role…It really is an intense performance. He finally feels like a match for Batman – both physically and mentally. Christian Bale and Tom Hardy are both such fiercely committed actors that pitching them as adversaries works incredibly well – they have such a great chemistry on camera.”
Thomas also alluded to Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman role.
“It’s completely new, and it’s a really interesting role. You never quite know where you are with her.”
