Lionsgate and Saban Brands are teaming up to bring the iconic Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers back in a new reboot film coming out January 2017. All that is known about the film so far is that the script is being written by X-Men First Class screenwriters Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, and Project Almanac‘s Dean Israelite will be directing. We have talked to Jason David Frank at last year’s San Diego Comic-con where he said that he didn’t know too much about the film at that time but that Saban Brands wants to make sure that it is done right.
Some questionable photos which are being called “concept art,” have leaked and show some word designs. Take a look at this link…>(Bleeding Cool).
Bleedingcool says that they had to dig the images up on the internet but are not exactly saying where they came from. It looks like the photos were taken from someones Snapchat but other than that, there’s no telling where they came from. There have been sites that have also taken down the photos and the articles which displayed the photos, but do not give any explantations as to why they were taken down. They could have either been asked by the studio to take them down, which usually means they are legit, or they could have debunked the photos as to being fake.
