Today during a big conference in Japan, Pokemon has revealed that the next Pokemon title for Switch will be the long rumored title Pokemon Lets Go, Pikachu! and Lets Go, Eevee! The game will take place in the Kanto region from the original Pokemon titles with the ability to choose either a Pikachu or an Eevee to start out with. The game will feature all new features that will attract many fans of the older titles as well as new fans looking to start their adventure for the first time.
The connection between these two new titles and Pokémon GO doesn’t end there – literally. GAME FREAK and The Pokémon Company teamed up with Niantic to bring next-level innovation by offering players the ability to connect their Pokémon GO to their Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! game. Players can catch Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region in Pokémon GO and then transfer them into their Nintendo Switch adventure. Something special will also be coming to the world of Pokémon GO, making the connection between both games even more appealing for Trainers. Details for this will be revealed in the near future.
The game will also introduce a new Poké Ball shaped device called the Poké Ball Plus that can be used to take your Pokemon from the game on the go while offering several features such as motion controls, rumble support, lights, and sounds. From the trailer it looks incredibly impressive and interesting to try out. The Poké Ball Plus will be available in select retailers on the same day as the game.
Pokemon Lets Go, Pikachu! and Lets Go, Eevee! will be coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on November 16th.
