Netflix commits to releasing more anime, Aggretsuko season 2 confirmed

If you love anime and you are a Netflix subscriber well there are quite a few things you can look forward to. At Anime Expo 2018, Netflix revealed that the second season of Castlevania will air on October 26th with 8 episodes and Cannon Busters from LeSean Thomas (Boondocks, Black Dynamite) will be released on April 1, 2019 with 12 episodes.

On July 18, Netflix will release Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle a sequel to Godzilla: Planet of Monsters which was released released earlier this year. Also set for release later this year is Dragon Pilot: Hisone and Masotan from on September 21.

If you enjoyed the Aggretsuko, you won’t have to wait too long to get more of Retsuko as it was revealed that season 2 will be released in 2019. If you aren’t familiar with the series, it’s about Retsuko, a A 25-year-old red pandawho  lets out her emotions by going to a karaoke bar every night and singing death metal.

Also coming in 2019 will be Kengan Ashura and a new Ultraman series. As a fan of the original Ultrman series I am actually looking forward to seeing a new series.
