2K has unveiled the new and improved Neighborhood for NBA 2K19, which includes MyCareer, PARK, Pro-Am and plenty other new activities including trampoline basketball and battle royale dodgeball.
One of the most notable additions to NBA 2K19 are the Under Armour Cages, which introduces the game of Cage Ball (aka “Slam Ball”) where your players compete on a caged-in court with trampolines on different sections of the pavement. There’s also another section of mini-games called “the Corral” which allows gamers to compete in Dodgeball, Red Ball-Blue Ball and Trivia with a chance to win in-game items.
Another point of emphasis in 2K19 ‘s Neighborhood mode is its constantly-changing visual styles. Every few hours, the sun shifts from morning to mid-day and dusk to night. When the park gets dark, the lights brighten up the courts and surrounding businesses. This add a whole new level of realism to the title.
The NBA 2K19: Standard Edition will be available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 11. Purchasing the 20th Anniversary Edition of NBA 2K19 ($99.99) will give you early access to the game on September 7 in both digital and physical on Ps4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and digitally PC
