The previously announced Japanese title from the hit anime My Hero Academia has been announced for a western release with a new name ‘My Hero One’s Justice’. The arena styled fighter was announced back in 2017 with a 2018 release date and will feature several characters from the anime such as Midoriya, Bokugo, All Might, and Stain, among others. The game will also feature a sidekick system in which players will have the ability to choose up to 2 other characters to assist them during a battle as well as destructible areas in which players can scale vertical walls and continue the fight.
My Hero Academia takes place in a world where a majority of people have powers, called ‘Quirks’. The anime follows Midoriya, a young man with the goal of being a hero. His goal is halted when he is told that he possesses no quirk and is unable to become a hero. It is until his idol, All Might, passes his powers onto him giving him the power of incredible strength. He then attends a school for future heroes, it’s there that he meets several interesting characters and even more interesting rivals.
My Hero One’s Justice is being published by Bandai Namco and is coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam this year.
