Mortal Kombat 11 is releasing in just over a week, so it’s about time we see some gameplay for the Nintendo Switch version. While it was playable at PAX East, the press and attendees were not allowed to record or capture any gameplay footage of the Switch version. Fortunately, we got just that today through the Mortal Kombat YouTube channel.
As demonstrated by the trailer, the game’s resolution is not as high and there aren’t nearly as many particles in the environments or even blood. However, it’s not like you’ll care that much when you’re too busy ripping the spines out of your opponents in portable or docked mode! Though the video doesn’t have a 60fps viewing option, PAX East attendees have stated that the framerate of the game is pretty smooth, which is all we can ask for in this Switch port of Mortal Kombat 11.
The game launches on April 23 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
