Midland played this past weekend at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles and what a show! Opening was Nikki Lane and Shane Smith & The Saints – they did not disappoint.
Shane Smith & The Saints played a great set to start the night off.
It was my first time seeing them and count me a fan. Heres a little about them. They consist of five very talented musicians – Shane Smith, Bennet Brown, Dustin Schaefer, Chase Satterwhite, and Zach Stover. They had such high energy and while there are 5 of them the way they vibe off each other is a sight to see. Will definitely try to catch their next show in Los Angeles and so should you! Give them a listen!
Next up was Nikki Lane and if you don’t know who she is, you should.
Nikki Lane was born in South Carolina but currently resides in Nashville. She won’t just charm you with her looks but her southern accent melts you on the spot. On top of all that she was down to earth and felt relatable when she talked to the crowd. Great to see more than just a “persona” on stage. She played her heart out in her bedazzled outfit and so glad I caught her whole set. Lane was at Stagecoach 2022 where Lana Del Rey made an appearance. Stagecoach even had the “Nikki Lane Stage Stop Marketplace” which we will also get for Stagecoach 2023! Now go check out her gorgeous voice and catch her next show!
And last but surely not least is Midland!
Made up of three talented men Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy, and Jess Carson. Quick shout out to their stylist, I always love their outfits. While the last time I saw them I was sweating in the desert this time I got to dance in the rain as they played the hills of LA. Rain or shine they put on a fantastic show. With some killer ‘staches and great music they played the crowd so well everyone was on their feet. At one point Wystrach even walked into the crowd!
