Konami is making it easier to scratch that itch of wanting to play the original 3 Metal Gear Solid titles.
Following the announcement of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, Konami posted that it would be releasing the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 which includes the HD versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater which was originally released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. It will also include the original Metal Gear Solid along with the MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2.
Konami likely could add more games to this collection, maybe the Game Boy Color version of Metal Gear Solid? Who knows since this is volume 1, maybe we could see the Metal Geat Ac!d series or even the Game Cube exclusive version of Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes released on the PS5, Xbox Series X and PC.
One can hope but it’s nice to know I soon won’t need to pull out my PS2 or PS3 to play some Metal Gear Solid.
