According to Latino Review’s El Mayimbe, we have a scoop as to who the frontrunner is to replace Edgar Wright on Marvels ‘Ant-Man’. As reported last week, director Edgar Wright and Marvel Studios parted ways due to last-minute rewrites to the Ant-Man screenplay and Marvel has since been looking for a suitable replacement to direct the film. El Mayimbe seems to be naming Marvel Co-President Louis D’Esposito as a potential candidate for the directors chair. D’Esposito helmed two Marvel one-shots (Item 47, Agent Carter) and has been executive producer on all Marvel Studios films. More to come from Nuke the Fridge so stay tuned.
