The photo above comes from Mark Hamill’s Instagram which came with a caption saying:
“This is as close as Lava Bear got to the action (since he was barred from the set). Photo by: @nathanhamill #starwarsVII #lavabear”
First, Lava Bear is a reference to his son Nathan Hamill’s site, which displays Lava Bear in photos taken in different parts of the world. The Star Wars set is so secretive, that not even Lava Bear can get in.
Now, not only does he reveal that the filming of “Star Wars: Episode VII” is again resuming, after the 2 week hiatus due to the leg injury to Harrison Ford during the shooting of the film, but how about Hamill’s awesome beard? Let’s just admire it for a second…
Back in late July, Hamill revealed to BBC that he had to grow a “contractually obligated” beard for the film. It looks like Luke Skywalker will be following in the foot steps of his bearded master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Some rumored plot details for the film have Luke going on hiatus after the Battle of Endor and he has not been seen since.
