Namtar Here –

Famed producer George Lucas is delaying the Star Wars television series once again.  With two seasons worth of scripts written and ready to go, what’s the hold up George?  Apparently producing Star Wars for the small screen required a tenth of the budget that a feature film will cost.  To be economically feasible, Lucas said, “a different type of technology” needs to be developed.  TV has to be produced at about a tenth of the cost of movies, and Lucas said developing the necessary technology is a “difficult process.”Why hasn’t Lucasfilm been working on this “problem” sooner?  By the time Star Wars comes out, Darth Vader will be a shell of his former self, and fans will have lost interest.  (Hey, it happened to the Village People!)

Help Obi-Wan Kenobi, you’re my last hope.  May the farce be with you!
