LA COMIC CON: 2023 WAS AN ABSOLUTE BLAST

There was a ‘Lord Of The Rings’ Hobbit 20 year Reunion with Elijah Wood, Sean Austin, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd.

We saw a ‘House Of Dragons’/’Doctor Who’ mash-up with Matt Smith.  ‘The Boys’ sent their girls to shine: Erin Moriarty aka Starlight, and Karen Fukuhara aka Killer Kimiko.  And magic happened when the ‘Harry Potter’ Weasley Clan, Bonnie Wright – James & Oliver Phelps, appeared onstage. Plus there was so much more…

My favorite experience was the FANGORIA PANEL that features Horror Filmmakers.  The panel was packed with writer/directors from well-known Horror films.  And they had some interesting things to say, in an intimate setting,about taking their famous films from script to screen.  I even got a hand-shake from ‘TALK TO ME’ Director Danny Philippou.  That doesn’t happen in San Diego.

The Cosplay was also a sight to see.  It was fun to just walk the convention floor, with my friends, and spot the awesome costumes. People really worked hard on bringing interesting characters to life. And the convention floor was huge, with so many venders and artist selling unique items.  Which was a big plus, since Christmas is right around the corner.  I got my Christmas shopping done! And everyone on my list is getting something cool, thanks to LA Comic Con.
