Kurt Sutter, writer of hit shows such as The Shield and Sons of Anarchy, has given the ax to his latest series, The Bastard Executioner.
Sutter made the announcement with ads in Variety and THR, where he explained exactly why he decided to cancel The Bastard Executioner.
The Bastard Executioner‘s rating lost more than half of its audience through the first six weeks. The first week saw ratings of 4 million, dropping to 1.9 million by episode six.
The series wrapped it’s final season Nov.17.
