Yesterday, the Microsoft store accidentally listed a remaster for 2012’s Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning, and this morning THQ Nordic confirmed the existence of the remaster dubbed Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Originally developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games, this action RPG was well received, but after 38 Studios went bankrupt, the hopes for any potential sequels remained dashed. THQ Nordic bought the rights for the series in 2018, and thus this remaster was born.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will launch on August 18, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC for $39.99. Pre-orders are available on Amazon right now, with the Collector’s Edition for $109.99 set to be available soon.
