So one of the rumors yesterday that we brought to your attention was that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was up for the role of Ant-Man. Well that rumor is just that, a rumor.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been doing promotion for his newest film Don Jon & while speaking to Allocine, he revealed that people shouldn’t believe everything they read or hear. Here’s what Gordon-Levitt had to say about the rumor…”There are always rumors…I talk a lot about my future projects, so if you haven’t heard me talk about it, it means it’s nothing but a rumor. People like to write about [rumors].”
He also said that the rumors on him passing any auditions or test for Ant-Man are “nothing but lies.”
& this is why we make sure that we put “rumor” when news like this comes out. Until we hear that it has been confirmed. Especially when dealing with a high anticipated show, film or anything along those lines.
So as for who will play Ant-Man in the upcoming film, that is still a mystery.
