Looks like Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be involved with the Sandman film…
This came from his Facebook today & confirms that the rumors are no longer rumors. JGL has been linked to ongoing rumors that he was involved in a film adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman along with David S. Goyer.
Sandman is a comic book series written by Neil Gaiman. It became one of the most popular trade paperbacks & also made the New York Times Best Seller List. Neil Gaiman revived the character which was first created by Jack Kirby & Ernie Chua. The Sandman’s main character is known as Dream aka Morpheus. Gaiman summarized the plot as “The Lord of Dreams learns that one must change or die, and makes his decision.”
Earlier this year, Joseph Gordon-Levitt specifically said that if he were to be involved with any project, that you would hear him talking about it & if not, then it’s just a rumor. So I suppose we can no longer keep this one in the box of rumors.
