Japanese Music Festival OTAQUEST LIVE heading to Los Angeles with an incredible lineup

Fans of J-pop, EDM, and Hiphop might want to keep their summer plans open with the announcement of OTAQUEST LIVE. A summer concert featuring some of Japan’s most popular musical acts will be performing at The Novo in Los Angeles on July 3rd. Produced by LDH, OTAQUEST LIVE will feature m-flo, CAPSULE, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, CrazyBoy, and Hiroomi Tosaka.

That’s not all, OTAQUEST and LDH will also be hosting the OTAQUEST KICKOFF featuring sets from Taku Takahashi, TeddyLoid, and Yasutaka Nakata.

It’s truly a blessing to have these artists finally make waves in the West. Many have dominated the charts in Japan for years and to have them perform for one night is a rare chance to see a representation of the Japanese pop culture.

CAPSULE’s Yasutaka Nakata also produces all the music for both Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Perfume, both of which have maintained immense popularity to this day in JapanHe has also collaborated on a track with Kenshi Yonezu (the singer of My Hero Academia‘s Opening Theme Peace Sign).

m-flo producer Taku Takahashi and TeddyLoid helped to produce the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt Original Soundtrack which includes this absolute banger.
