Monster Hunter: World is taking the actual world by storm on the PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC port set for release later this year. The same unfortunately can not be said for Nintendo Switch owners, especially considering Monster Hunter was a franchise popular among the 3DS crowd. Capcom president Haruhiro Tsujimoto addressed the demand for a Switch version and stated that it would be difficult to port the game to the hybrid console.
CEO of Iron Galaxy Studios, Adam Boyes, took to Twitter to respond to this article:
Dear @monsterhunter team at Capcom – we understand that porting the game to Nintendo Switch is challenging (https://t.co/0JrAIQgcft) but this is exactly what @IToTheG does. Give us a shot & we won’t let you down 😉

Iron Galaxy is a game studio that specializes in contract work for large developers, including the likes of porting games to other platforms. Most recently, the helped out Bethesda with the Switch port of Skyrim. And it looks like Boyes is up to the challenge of porting Monster Hunter: World.
