GUNN TEASES A RELUCTANT ‘SUPERMAN-LUTHOR’ TEAM-UP IN “MAN OF TOMORROW” SEQUEL

JAMES GUNN had this to say about “MAN OF TOMORROW”, the next film in the 4-movie Superman saga… Flying into theaters July 9, 2027.
“It’s a story about Lex Luthor and Superman having to work together to a certain degree against a much, much bigger threat,” Gunn said, “It’s more complicated than that, but that’s a big part of it. It’s as much a Lex movie as it is a Superman movie. I loved working with Nicholas Hoult. I relate to the character of Lex, sadly. I really wanted to create something extraordinary with the two of them. I just love the script so much.”

James Gunn also officially confirmed the role of Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane in his upcoming Superman film, Man of Tomorrow. During a Q&A Gunn was asked, “James, how much of a role does Lois play in Man of Tomorrow?” He responded with a simple answer, saying, “She’s important.”
