Former Miss Israel Gal Gadot will star as Wonder Woman in director Zack Snyder’s “Batman vs. Superman” film. With a lot to live up to, the 28-year-old Gadot knows she must be in the best shape of her life to tackle the demands of the highly physical role. So, how does she train to keep herself in shape?
“I just keep active—everything that’s challenging me, everything that I feel like doing. It’s not like I’m only TRX or Pilates. I do sports. I do cardio, but I don’t like it as much. I’d rather do weights… I try to eat healthy, but sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That’s good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water.”
When asked about her Wonder Woman role or any topic concerning “Batman vs. Superman,” Gadot could not comment. She is forbidden to discuss anything related to the film. What is known is that production on the film should begin very soon.
“Batman vs. Superman” will open in theaters on May 6, 2016. The action/adventure/fantasy film will star Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Galdot, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg and Jeremy Irons. Chris Terrio wrote the screenplay from the story by David S. Goyer and Zack Snyder, which is based on characters created by Jerry Siegel, Joe Shuster and Bob Kane. Zack Snyder directs.
