Among Yahoo!’s launch of pics from the set of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, there was a new villain that we haven’t seen photos of until now. In this pic above, UFC fighter Georges St-Pierre or GSP for short, is seen as Batroc the Leaper aka Georges Batroc.
In the comics, Batroc was a self trained member of the French Foreign Legion. He later became a mercenary called the Leaper. Although he worked alone quite a bit, he often recruited rogue criminals to create the group known as Batroc’s Brigade. At one point, Batroc gave up a life of crime on behalf of Captain America’s dying wish. He soon went back to his criminals ways not long after.
