It was reported that actor Harrison Ford injured his leg on the set of Star Wars Episode VII. The extent of the injury was unclear but it was said that he would be back to commence filming within eight weeks. Unfortunately bad news has come via the website Jedi News who claims that Ford’s injury is so bad that the movie may be delayed significantly.
We’re hearing via a number of sources that production on Episode VII could be delayed due to the severe nature of Harrison Ford’s leg injury. We understand a meeting was called this morning at Pinewood to discuss the situation, but the early word is that production of the film could be pushed back by a substantial amount of time.
In addition, The Metro is saying that the delay may take up to six months. If the release date gets pushed back, we may get a summer release date for Star Wars Episode VII after all.
