I give Death Race: Beyond Anarchy a B.
Death Race: Beyond Anarchy takes place in a post-apocalyptic, industrial type world where the Death Race is now illegal and Frankenstein is the ruler of the area inside the Federal Compound. After a failed attempt to take Frankenstein down, Connor Gibson (Black Ops Specialist) is sent to the compound (undercover) where he enters the Death Race with the goal of taking Frankenstein down.
This film is definitely a ride! I forgot how much I love this franchise. I’ve seen almost all the films except for Deathrace 2050 with Manu Bennett (which I definitely need to see when I get a chance). If you like cars, gore, and non-stop action. You’ll enjoy this film. Connor Gibson (McGowan) is definitely the hero we need. He not only kicks some major butt but has awesome driving skills that match or maybe goes beyond Statham in Death Race (released in 2008). I hope to see McGowan in other films! I like how you never see Frankenstein’s face. At the beginning of the film, it paints a picture of him being this ruthless ruler of the compound. Not showing his face adds mystery to the character and give you sense that he is someone you don’t want to mess with.
Catch Death Race: Beyond Anarchy out on Blu-ray, Digital, & DVD October 2nd!
