Hey!! Wait a cotton-picking minute! Isn’t James Gunn filming the new Superman movie right now? So how can I be a part of this production at the same time? Does he think he’s a super man as well?

James Gunn wrote and directed all episodes of Peacemsker season one. But Since the news of Peacemaker‘s renewal, James Gunn announced he would be writing Superman, the first feature film in his and Safran’s new DC Universe. And March 2023, Gunn decided he would also direct Superman.

So Despite the initial announcement that Gunn would write and direct every Peacrmaker Season 2 episode, that plan changed amid his commitment to the feature film: “In the interest of getting the show out there, I won’t be able to direct them all (only some).” And In a January post, Gunn confirmed that he has written all eight episodes as planned.

So in 2025 we will be getting a new SUPERMAN film and PEACEMAKER season two. And since James Gunn wrote them both, I wonder if there will be a connection. Stranger things have happened.
