DC STUDIOS: JAMES GUNN SHARES A 1st LOOK AT HIS ‘JIMMY OLSEN’

MISSED OPPORTUNITY:   I think James Gunn should have showed up at San Diego Comic-Con with, at the very least, Daily Planet & Superhero character posters. Because those leaked behind-the-scenes Paparazzi shots that came out about two months ago, didn’t catch the characters at their best. And even these shots of his Jimmy Olsen are blurry.

DC STUDIOS:  Writer/Director James Gunn has given us our first official look at Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen for the upcoming new “Superman” movie. Gunn also runs DC Studios with Peter Safran.

Celebrating the anniversary of Jimmy Olsen’s first comic book appearance in Action Comics #6 (1941), James Gunn wrote: “Happy Anniversary to Superman’s pal, Jimmy Olsen, who debuted on this day in 1941 (although he did appear earlier as “office boy” in Action Comics #6). Created by Jerry Siegel, Joe Shuster & Bob Maxwell.
