My Thoughts

I give the Darkest Hour Blu-ray a B+.

First thought while watching this Blu-ray?  Gary Oldman is incredible!

It was cool seeing the man I have heard so much about in History class brought to life.  Gary Oldman did such an excellent portrayal of Winston Churchill. He is so on point with his portrayal in this film as with many that he has done in the past, that I don’t recognize him.  I see his name in the credits and think “That was him?!?” Any role that Oldman does he seems to transform himself into that character and this film was no different.

If you are a fan of history, period, or war films, you definitely don’t want to miss this one!
