While we already knew that a tsunami of sequels are in the Disney theatrical Pipeline. (they were announced at last year’s D23)
The one big surprise was that The Incredibles 3 is development at Pixar Animation Studios, with writer-director Brad Bird returning to write and direct. He helmed 2004’s “The Incredibles” and 2018’s “Incredibles 2” — and now he’s returning for the threequel.
Good on them! I love that franchise. I just hope that they move Progress the story and grow the kids up a bit. We need a new perspective.
And though they did not Officially Announce an Inside Out 3. With the current sequel’s box office Bonanza, over $1.5 billion and growing, We know it’s coming. I mean, Riley‘s teen years would make for another slam-dunk success for that franchise. I’m just saying…
But until that happens, and I know it will. Inside Out will be getting a Disney+ TV series called Dream Productions, which will bow next year.
