Early Wednesday the Official Comic-Con International site released its exhibit floor map. You can find that map here along with a full list of exhibitors. As any veteran of SDCC knows, proper planning and preparation are needed in order to maximize your con experience to its full potential, so start early. Leading up to Comic-Con we’ll update any events, signings, and outside happenings we can confirm.
Nuke The Fridge has highlighted a few areas for attendees new and old to keep an eye out for:
-Most of the comic companies are right smack in the middle of the floor. Dark Horse looks to have a “Massive” presence. Aspen Comics will have tons of exclusives as usual. Marvel has normally used their booth space to promote films but a large presence for Agents of SHIELD is expected in the booth this year.
– Hasbro toy booth will most likely have a peek at Transformers 4 in the form of a car on the floor.
– AMC’s booth will be dominated by a nice Walking Dead photo op area and in front of them will be 20th Century Fox who could be bringing big plans to promote Wolverine and Days of Future Past. With ABC next door to them; most likely also there to push SHIELD, that area could become a quicksand trap if you’re looking to get to the Artist Alley so watch out.
-WB and CBS will have a big presence on the floor with WB still pushing all they can out of Man of Steel and CBS no doubt looking to get attention for Under the Dome and other shows. Keep an eye out for their signing schedule as you can expect some big names for autograph sessions.
– IP Pavilion is new to me, but it looks like a gathering of small production companies and teams like Man of Action.
– Video Games have moved to the opposite side of the floor and out side of Konami have been bundled more closer together with Playstation. No doubt with new systems on the horizon it looks like a great opportunity for free stuff.
The Artist Alley listing is also available to plan your commission hunt and if your favorite artist isn’t listed be sure to keep an eye on your favorite publisher’s social media to see who they’re bringing.
