Out of everyone in the original Star Wars trilogy trio (Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher) Carrie Fisher, everyone’s favorite strong minded princess, has been the only one that has openly talked about being apart of the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII film. While promoting his show “Legit,“ which Fisher will be appearing on, comedian Jim Jefferies told Sirius XM’s Opie & Anthony show, that Fisher will be in London shooting Episode VII for six months. Here’s the full quote of what Jefferies said:
“She’s a funny lady, man. She’ll be smoking cigarettes outside and as soon as she gets inside, she’s straight on to the vapor. She’s had some f***ing hard partying in her life, I tell ya….She said to me, she goes ‘I’m going off to London for six months to film the new Star Wars movie,’ right? And I don’t think from looking at it, the new Star Wars movie is a direct continuation. It’s number 7 but it’s not going to be the next day, I’ll tell you that much. Maybe she had the same problem the Emperor had, I don’t know.”
Being the comedian that he is, Jefferies obviously was teasing that Fisher doesn’t quite look like the slave Leia that we all remember, after 31 years, who could blame her? Jefferies also went on to tease that Harrison Ford aged quite a bit….duh.
All jokes aside, if this is true, this would suggest that Carrie Fisher will have more than just a rumored cameo, since she will be there for about 6 months. The last we heard, is that episode VII will be centered around the original trio, with their offspring taking the passenger seat.
