BOTH ‘GAME OF THRONES’ SPIN-OFFS GET EARLY RENEWALS

 

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has been renewed for Season 2 ahead of its first season debut. Season 1 premieres Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Season 2 will debut in 2027.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms takes place a century before the events of Game of Thrones. It follows an unlikely duo — a courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his small squire, Egg.

“Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends,” – The HBO Synopsis.

Meanwhile, House of the Dragon has been renewed for Season 4 ahead of its third season debut. Season 3 is set to air in the summer of 2026, and Season 4 will debut in 2028.

House of the Dragon is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. Based on Martin’s Fire & Blood series.
